Six Digit Confirmation Code For Facebook Hack
You’ll now see a “Verification Code” displayed on the facebook.com passwords page in Settings. This six-digit verification code changes every 30 seconds. Tap on the code, then choose “Copy Verification Code.” Next, go to the Facebook app’s 2FA section again and paste the code on the “Enter Confirmation Code” page.
For instance, if your Facebook profile name is “John Doe”, your profile page URL is “www.facebook.com/JohnDoe”. Delete the text above the URL and replace it with your own username (JohnDoe in this example).
Now that you have the app access, you can log in to your FB account. Since the Hacker already gained access to your account, he can set his own name as the display name to replace yours. Also he can reset your email addres and profile picture. He could even change the password to something more secure.
Now that you’re logged in, you can control your settings. And the Hacker might be able to change all that. If he’s interested in disrupting your Facebook experience, he could make you view ads about whatever or sell your contact list to companies you don’t want to sell your information to.
