Cracking Adobe Photoshop is a bit more involved, but it can be done. First, you’ll need to download a program called a keygen. This is a program that will generate a valid serial number for you, so that you can activate the full version of the software without having to pay for it. After the keygen is downloaded, run it and generate a valid serial number. Then, launch Adobe Photoshop and enter the serial number. You should now have a fully functional version of the software. Just remember, cracking software is illegal and punishable by law, so use it at your own risk.
Adobe bought Nik Software with a cool $644 million back in April. The Nik Shake variant of Photoshop’s free video effects is pretty cool. It performs one effect on a clip, and then you can play it back in isolated mode. You can reduce/enlarge, and other effects are available, too. All in all, Photoshop is getting better. Lots of little things too, but you’ll see a lot more in the next version. This particular version, I checked it out while at a seminar where Adobe used the RAW image files, and one of the attendees noted that it could be used to do some kind of watermarking. He noted that the brush actually made light footprints of the type of paper it was moving on, and they could be erased now or later. Impressive.
This is a really boring review. As covered in the Adobe Photoshop CS6 review, I don’t do full reviews these days. Many faithful folks still expect some kind of performance review of the major releases, and I have yet to develop a good explanation for why I don’t. There’s no reason not to tell players in a review why I’ve chosen one app over another.
